I have had so many friends recently complain to me. They will do the online dating. They will see the pics of a guy and he will be older, heavier, different person, once a different race, have lied about religion, income. How would you deal with that. I mean seriously, not a silly response.

This has happened to my friends as well. There really isn't a good way to deal with it. My suggestion would be to ask for several photos in advance, but if the guy is a liar he's probably not someone you'd want to date anyway. They have to take online dating with a grain of salt just like "regular" dating, I'm sure they've met people in real life who were dishonest as well. Tell them to keep trying, there has to be some good guys out there....right?!

I have heard of a woman who used to get all upset if a guy left immediately when he was expecting a woman six inches taller or 10 years younger. They weren't leaving because she was old and short; they were leaving because she was a liar.
Before an online couple dates, they should each be in possession of each other's recent photos and know the other's age, height, past marital and reproductive status, religion, political views, current occupation and any major health problems. They should travel in separate cars to the restaurant and a woman should always have a cell phone. An obvious liar gets left immediately without apology and gets stuck with the tab.

Sometimes guys and gals lie about a lot of things in hope when they meet they could convince the other person they have other good qualities. The point is to met the person. Yes it is a lie but they think it would lead to something.

Ask these people how recent is the picture! If you still don't find them attractive then go on to the next one that comes along.

i would say straight out when you meet them in person that they mislead you and then stop seeing them. It's the same thing as lying in person.
