Free Run generally means domesticated chickens that you keep in a fenced off area ("the run") with a coop and feed them manufactured chicken food.

Free Range means chickens that have the run of the yard / farm and eat whatever they can find...bugs, plants, etc.

Chickens can be organic in either case if they eat only organic foods...most manufactured foods aren't truly organic though.

I have nine chickens that are part Free Range and part Free Run. We keep them locked up in the run sometimes (Purina food) and let them out of the run a lot, too (where then they terrorize our neighbors.)

Free run and free range are one and the same I think. It's where the chicken is allowed to run free and not be caged.
I don't know about the organic chicken question.

I believe that Free run and Free range mean the same thing. Organic chicken are those that are fed with feeds not preserved or enhanced with chemicals. No steroids or other chemicals in their drinking water.

I ordered my 26 chickens online. McMurray is a large company. Order your chicks and then raise them organically as free range. Mine were delivered via the USPS. Get them without vaccinations and see how long they survive. That makes them organic but susceptible to diseases.
