I suggest you go to the nearest Home Depot or Lowe's for pricing. There are tons of places you can buy laminate flooring, but it's about finding exactly what you want for the budget you have. Are you going to lay it yourself? I know some lines, like the Dupont, come with the lining already attached to the laminate. Pergo requires that you put something down first. First and foremost, set a budget. Then you will be able to tell what you can afford. 8 x 8 is small and a great size because it is even. That will make it much easier to do yourself.
At Home Depot, the show you all the different fittings you need for doorways, stairs, etc. I think to have it laid is going to cost you around $3-4 a sq ft. So that alone you're looking at 64 sq ft x say $4 = $256. That's just getting it put in. The floor itself, you can find a decent floor for about $4 a sq ft, so just double that number to be around $500. That's actually not too bad, but what kind of flooring is already in the room needs to be considered as well. Is it carpet? If so, can you pull it up yourself? If you can, I recommend you do it in case whoever you get to do it wants to charge you for it. Make sure you do get an underlay that is going to last. Don't go with cheap floor if you want it to last. Laminate is the way to go in a lot of rooms, but cheap stuff will start to shift overtime and the ridges around each pieces will start to show, giving the floor an uneven look. Spending the extra couple of bucks per sq ft is a good idea in my opinion. You want something that will last you.
Oh, and one more thing. Make sure the person that is putting the floor down is insured and licensed if possible.

you will need underlay but only 1 roll about £15 the laminate about 6 packs from b+q about £30 a fitting kit you won't need wood glue as most are self click in you will need beading around the edges because you need to leave a 10 mil gap (for expansion due to weather)and a laminate doorbar .To fit a floorlayer would charge app £100 but it is easy to fit yourself

The price can range from about under £10 a box to £100 but with a floor that small i wouldnt say you need that many boxes.
Underlay is about £30+ and you will need woodglue
Not sure how much it will cost to lay by a professional
