OK if you read 1 Peter chapter 5 verses 8& 9this describes how the Devil SATAN works,, also read 1 john chapter 3 verses 8& 9

also read 1 john chapter 2 verses 15--16--and 17 this tells of what God thinks of this world.

To your question ,, Yes it is a sin, because if you are a Christian you would know that God does not approve of this,, also the Devil is hear to keep us from Gods teachings and have you ever heard the saying ' Misery loves company' Well thats what Satan is and he wants to take all he can with him into Misery the abyss with him ,, he will promise you the world like he did to Jesus for 40 days and nights,, he was always tempting Jesus Because he knew what Jesus was hear to do,,, i hope this helps you to stay away from such things , and I hope you are a believer in Christ ,God Bless you. TY.

Christianity, the dominant religion in the U.S. has a theme that what people would do naturally is not Godly - that we must reign in most of our natural/animal desires. In some cases, we must not even think of those desires (Jesus saying that to even think of committing adultry is to have already done it).

As a non christian, however, I believe reigning in too many of our desires has a harmful effect. For instance - we are so puritanical in our society that we have trouble teaching our children about sex. Parents are afraid to tell them anything for fear that kids will start having sex. So, kids experiment on their own, ignorant of birth control and the diseases out there, and end up pregant or with sexually transmitted diseases.

I feel pornography is like this too. People are naturally curious - how do other people have sex? People also have a sex drive, and need to get relief. While pornography has it's bad sides - possible exploitation, possible addition -- enjoyed in moderation I personally think it's fine, and can add spark to one's sex life. For instance, instead of physically cheating on his wife, a guy can look at porn and masturbate intead. While the wife may not like her husband doing this, which is better? Actually cheating, or just looking at photos and masturbating? I'd pick the photos any day!

Porn reminds me of alcohol - some people can enjoy in moderation.

No it's not the work of Satan. To the average adult it's only sexual stimulation. The adulterers would do so without porn. Adultery was a problem since before the ten commandments. They didn't have porn then. There was also a lot of raping and pillaging before porn was thought of.

I believe that sex offenders shouldn't have access to porn because they can't control themselves. In their case it doesn't lead to adultery. It leads to child molesting or rape. Most of these people are mentally ill. Not really intentionally evil.

Adultery was here long before porn was. People had no problem committing it. A married couple, in the confines of their home, have the choice to utilize suggestive materials to induce feelings of want. It could help to keep the marriage alive, wake up stagnant relationships and minds, and keep that couple together and enjoying what GOD gave them.....the ability of satisfying one another through conjugal rights.........

It could... but a lot of the people I know who watch it, watch it with their spouses... it's to add spice/variety... I'm not sure why people blame porn for adultery though... if we got rid of all the porn in the world, there would still be adultery..... porn is not the cause.

adultery has been around forever. it's something that God introduced to the humans. pornography is a creation of man. we just decided to sin by watching it.

If you have the love of Christ in your heart, you wouldnt even consider pornography. These are tools of Satan, to corrupt your mind.

Yes, its caused untold suffering from women, girls and boys. It is addictive and many serial murder, rapists have said they got hooked on porn at a young age. Its never enough for some people and that leads to snuff outs and such.

no
impossible for me to believe that; i don't believe in satan...or god
sex is a primal, natural act
when "tools of the trade" are used w/discretion & consideration for others, then i don't see a problem w/it
