Pick up lines never work! Especially when their as cheesy as they are in the movies. If a woman notices that your trying way too hard, it would probably just turn her away, so I don't recommend you using them. Instead, strike up a conversation like you do with a friend. Get rid of that nervousness. If you feel as confident as you act, than it would probably go better than you would expect. Striking up conversations are easy, its just a matter of giving them the impression that you're interested. Just keep at it. I don't know if I've helped, but i tried...Best of luck!

Now honestly i cant really think of a pick up line that i havent thought was dumb atm but a few lines that my boyfriend has said to me that i really liked was: baby i was sad today cause all i wanted was 2 be with u, i love you more then the number of sand grain in the Pacific ocean or more then the number of stars in the sky, or i missed u/love u the size of a thimble and a thimble holds the universe. yes i guess they might seem a lil corny but i liked them and thought they were sweet

i don't think they really work, at least not for me--just being yourself and approaching a girl in a non aggressive manner and offering to buy her a drink or something is a good start. most pick up lines are a turn off and very "cheesy". just smile and be nice, this usually lets a girl know that you are interested.

it actually depends on the girl
some girls think the cheesy pick up lines are really dumb but some of them think its cute
to be on the safe side, talk to her and get to know her first but don't make it so that you're gossiping or acting like her friend, because then that's all she'll want from you, a friendship
get her laughing and smiling, if you get her feeling happy and good then she'll want to see more of you and be around you more. compliment her, and do it sincerely, no matter how much girls deny it, they love compliments, but don't go overboard because then she'll think you're too clingy or trying too hard
just be yourself.. you can't go wrong with that because if the girl you like can't appreciate who you truly are then she's not the girl for you

It works every time. Or use a really corny funny pick up line. All you got to do is make a girl laugh and she is all yours. I heard the one where you go up to a girl and say "do you like chicken" and of course they say yes b/c who doens't like chicken...and then you put out your arm and say "then grab a wing and lets go."

I wouldn't use lines. Those are lame. Just being yourself and being confident is a big turn on. Just say Hi and talk to her like you would anyone else. Good Luck.

most pick up lines dont work... but when a guy look at me in the eyes and shows that he want to get to know me, then i might give him my number. Give it a try!!
