As long as they drink plenty of water, they'll generally live. However, their body will go into starvation mode, so that when they do eat, every nutrient is absorbed using a much slower metabolism.

Fruit will give you water, but you would still have to drink a lot. Now, to answer your question directly, you will probably lose a couple of pounds, unless your fruits include high calorie fruits like bananas or mangoes. You will feel very weak and cranky and may not sleep well. Whatmore, once this week passes, your body will be asking to make up for that treatment , and you'll be eating more than your usual.

Well you can get exhausted. Your body can go with out the food but that doesn't mean that it should! Your body needs food daily to function properly. Your body will start to deteriorat on its self after only a day or two, dissolving the muscle tissue to get the nutrients it needs. Essencially your body eats its self until your heart stops.

If you are considering doing this to lose weight then you really should consider a different way. Not eating slows your metabolism and once you start eating again you will gain all that weight that was lost back if not more.

It's not a good idea. Fruit is good for you but the human body needs more vitamins, minerals, etc. than fruit provides. A person who eats only fruit can develop deficiencies in a variety of vitamins, etc. For example, fruit isn't very high in iron, if it has any at all.

If you don't eat for a week, you'd die. People can last 36 hours or 48 hours/ 3 to 4 days. If you just ate fruit, you would have malnutrition. Fruit doesn't have EVERYTHING in it. That's why we have a food pyramid.

I went an entire week and ate only a single bag of Gardettos. I had about 10oz of water all week. It wasnt good. I was very depressed. I didnt have any energy and I felt like crap all the time. I did lose 15 lbs that week, so thats a plus but it was a bad way to diet.

Why one week? You can stay on fruits for months together if you are fat. It is the best treatment for obesity.
If you are suffering from acidity you will get cured.
If you are tiny you should try fruits only once a day otherwise you will be in trouble - joint pains etc.
