Yes, but you also need vegetables. Fruits contain lots of sugar.

It depends on what kind of fruit you're eating. In general, you can lose weight by eating foods with a low calorie density. That means they have a lower amount of calories per volume. This way you feel full but eat less calories. Fruit that is low desnity includes all melons -- watermleons, cantalope, and honey dew are great. Pineapple is also low density. Fruits that are higher density include apples, bananas, and pears. To find the amount of calories in the food you're eating, try www.nutritiondata.com.

Its okay to eat, but you also need protein in your diet. Just because fruit is good for you, it doesn't mean it has every nutrient in it. Also, the only way a diet works is with exercise. Pick a cardio sport or activity, like jogging, and do an hour a day.

Of course!, but dont only eat fruit, vegetables are good too and there are other foods that are good to eat when you are on a diet as well. Try looking some up.

Yeah, you can safely fast using watermellon. If you want more beneficial result and you want to aid your body's natural healing system, fast with (lemon, cayenne, stevia, clean/filtered/bottled water) for 7 to even 14 days. If you start to feel worn out or tired, replace the stevia with honey/real maple syrup/raw honey. You really won't feel hungry with either of these fasting methods.

At the end slowly reintroduce a quality probiotics formula (at your local health store), fruits, then vegetables then a sensible diet recommended by average physicians: http://www.pcrm.org/ Click on health link at top.

Fruit has natural sugars so be careful not to over do it. Try 0% fat milk. Lots of fat free foods and drinks out there. Watch your salt intake.
