I'm not an atheist. But I don't believe that most atheists are offended by religion or think anyone is mindless. The extremes of any cause usually has it's share of nuts.
It's like the far left (North Korea) and the far right (Germany circa 1940's), both are pure examples of extremes.
I submit that the extreme religious nut is not too different from the extreme nut "atheists". They both will use insults to try to prove their points. How sad for both.

I think they are mindless by accepting a huge bunch rules and crazy stories as something handed to them by a god who doesn't ever show up to really keep people in line. I personally am offended by the acts of muslims who religiously jump on an airplane and crash it into things killing lots of people. That truly offends me, and they're right, i don't believe in doing that.

I don't understand.Oh, I'm sorry, I understand now,I think I said something close to that. Mindless is correct, but I forgive you for it and I'll continue to pray for you.

I think theists generally spend too much time worry about atheists' non-belief in their diety(ies). It's pointless trying to reason that religious beliefs are just one point of difference between people.

that they are offended by atheists in general, and this is their attack on atheists because we are not like them. Competition breeds words like "mindless"!

It says that they are just as caddy as you have become. This is all getting so boring. Nothing is ever going to get solved! How long do you plan on continuing this nonsense?

I can think for myself, so tactics are just tactics - they have no effect on me.

i am deeply offended by religion, i dont believe in it, and i suppose if you want to say that it is a knee jerk reaction to it then you could call me mindless.
