Why doesn't anyone want to have a relationship based on Internet chat?

yeah but there are photos,and who knows if they really like each other maybe they can try to meet and try to see if it's working out.
of course the boy has to go to her to show that he's not a stalker.

because there are those creepy characters that they mentioned above.

mind you, i am not against on-line romantic relationships.

i think the issue is more on fidelity. to yourself and to the person on the other end of the line. the more input from both parties (e.g. cam, mic, photos etc) the more reliable the results.
I'm thankful that I'm one of those people who is a good judge of character. I've had my share of creeps but they stay clear of me...because i try to be honest with myself and they can sense it. I'm not the type who can be fooled around lightly. i think that is the key. being honest. because the way you treat and view people reflects on your character. if you doubt the other person, it goes to show that you yourself are lying through the net. why don't you trust him/her? because you yourself fabricate the truth. this should not be the case. "do unto others what you want others to do unto you". we should not succumb to the false majority. there is goodness in people but we try to protect it thus the lying.

that said, Internet based relationship requires a lot of trust. when you get into one, you have to have that. and respect. that is how it's supposed to work. it is not purely based on the feelings of the moment.
what is so beautiful about online relationships is that you get to show who you really are...the person within the body which is often neglected in real life.

anyways, if its real love, it will be patient, kind and understanding. i guess you already know what i mean.

Smart girls don't want a relationship based over the internet because they want contact. Writing *kisses* or ::hugs:: is not the same as looking at a person, or even close to holding hands! Who doesn't want to find someone special? The internet is not the way. Chances are if a girl wants a relationship with you over the internet, she wants online sex. And meeting someone you met online is NEVER a good idea.

because most of the time things go bad and people think the person they are talking to is someone, but really its all just an act and bad things can happen....you've seen the internet stalkers on the news i am sure....it is really not safe unless you are doing it through a company or something! sorry! :)

why not, I have met two wonderful people over the Internet and I'm sure that they are not lying to me, we're just friends though.
I'm going to meet one or both of them in 2007.
and I'm sure that they're not lying about their looks or career because I have Lot's of pictures of them besides seeing them on web cam while chatting.

It's easy to be who you want to be over the internet. For example I could tell you that I am 5'6'' blonde hair green eyes and 125 pounds...but am I really? It's easy to lie and decieve people.

See now a days we can't belive what happened behalf of us, and most of the time we will fail to distinguish good and bad when it is in front of us. so nobody wants to make relation ship in chat

not everyone. there are those who have relationship thru the net and suceeded. its the same thing wherever you are. but it is hard to put a trust on somebody you do not see. personal interaction is still the best
