Why do guys act like they are into you, say they'll call, but never do?

Some of us guys can be such sniveling, wimpy, cowards and will say anything that suits the moment... but never have intentions of actually following up. Most guys are afraid to insult or hurt a womans feelings face to face.

Sounds like an excuse to blow u off to me. Remember talk is cheap.I guess if they don't get what they want right away,they promise to call u but never do.

it's the guy's way of saving face.
guys don't have the heart to reject a girl face to face; but, their message come in free-n-clear when they don't call or they call at the last minute!
is it lame? sure is!
it spins every girl they say that to round & round!

To be fair there are guys who call when they say they will. My last boyfriend was like that. Those who do not call do not call because they are chickensh*t!
