Drunken hicks with rusty old shotguns always lead to trouble. Haven't any of you seen "Deliverance"?

I think you have a warped picture of what the minutemen do. They have not had a single incident of drunken shotgun firing since they started. They merely report to the authorities any instances of ILLEGAL border crossings and do not take enforcement into their own hands.

All I've heard about them was what was on the news. I suspect that's all you know of them too. They are just a bunch of people who live near the border who are negatively affected by border jumpers. Some border jumpers are peaceful and really just want a better life. However, many of them are barbarians with no sense of boundaries, like a lot of criminals who were already here. I'm sure you are aware there are a lot of people with boundary issues. Well, some of these folks are committing crimes against Americans on the border. I think that's how the minute men got started. What does Deliverance have to do with the minute men? Probably nothing. Probably just you being confused or being racist. For the record, it isn't okay for Mexicans to commit crimes in this country just because they are Mexican.

They aren't drunken hicks with shotguns.......they're not allowed to carry any weapons. They do, however, a job that our government should have been doing for many years......it's a shame when private citizens have to patrol the borders when the federal government doesn't....or take a chance on sacrificing votes. This is just the beginning......it'll get a lot bigger in time. It's not about race, it's about coming into our country illegally. And it's time someone does something about it.

These so called minutemen do tremendous harm and plan a more I beleive .
First of all, what right does anyone at all have to form vigilante groups, in effect creating law enforcement agencies outside of the governing structures? And why isnt the govt doing anything about this blatant illegal activity?
Second I want to mention, That there is the very very strong possibility that these minutemen are connected with a Moonie group that I and a friend of mine infiltrated to an extent some 25 or so years ago. They were a most sinister group recruiting for the Moonies under the name ·...Sons of Liberty. The intent of the group was to work in secret in the US., in order to affect changes their leadership felt might be for the best for the country...Highly unlikely though since they were really a Moonie front. My Friend and I figured out that they were moonies and went to one of their recruitment meeting. Very very very very scary stuff. Too much to go into here. Anyway, they figured out who we were then at one point in the cerimonies, as everyone gets up and starts marching around the room like a bunch of Zombies chanting, they walk up to us and snap our photos. They told us to either join in or leave immediately... Very scary...we got out and informed the Seamans institute where the meeting was held, they their renters were a Moonie group. they thanked us ans assured us they woudl not rent to them again... Go to this webiste and learn more about the Moonies and how they are in at least partial control of our extremely naive gopvernment .
www.thunderingsofthequill.com .You will be shocked by what you read there and the sinister reality behind seemingly innocent so called Minutemen..
Thanks

Drunken hicks with rusty shotguns? Thats what you think huh? Maybe you should go down there and see for yourself. I can't beleive that is the impression you get from the media. These people are down there to make a statement. Since the government isn't doing enough to secure our borders, these people are sacraficing their time for America. What are you doing to help America?

The Minutemen are doing Americas job for America. Someone needs to protect our border. They are Americans who simply expect all people to abide by the law. Of course, it's easy to make them the bad guy...offensive anger initially is effective but doesn't last...sorry....but they are our hero's'!

If you are legal, no problem. If you aren't, then they apprehend you and turn you over to the Border Patrol.....

What part of that do you find harmful?

The sad part is that people actually contribute funds to these people; I have never known of any cause funded by the citizens that doesn't end up in the pockets of the founding fathers. Bush calls them vigilantes. That's probably the politically correct word coming from him.

Ummm...Is name calling really necessary?
The Minutemen are doing an excellent job and have saved many illegals' lives by rescuing them from dieing in the desert.

No your wrong yesterday on fox news, they showed a illegal alien accosting a minuteman because he was filming the illegal bringing in more illegals, he hated the fact that he was caught on camera breaking the law, so it is your stupid illegal aliens that are causing the trouble, and didn't you yesterday write a question on why do anti- illegals always call names, against the pro- illegals, well your the one calling names when you can't win your argument. Oh and for the record your a stupid a*ss.

P.S. ice was called on these criminals I hope they were deported.

No--I like them. Their doing good for many here.

Deliverance? Are you afraid of that-than stay away is the best advise I can give. You wouldn't catch me going into those mountains alone. Nor would I put my self in a position of crossing illegally---if people make poor choices-don't cry on my shoulder.
