Don't try cigarette smoking to curb your appetite. You may be more attractive from a small amount of weight loss, but the residual stench, whooping cough, and rotting, yellow teeth will greatly undo that. Try some appetite suppressant pills or keep yourself busy, you'll be thankful you didn't take up smoking.

so.... you're looking for a reason why quitting smoking has been so easy and had such a positive effect on your life? well, obviousely you've done it wrong. you should start smoking again and quit again, but this time try to be hungry and irritable and gain 40lbs like everyone else does. you are LUCKY LUCKY LUCKY, thats why. be thankful and praise God that you wont have to go through trying to quit over and over again. or that you'll still be smoking even after you get lung and throat cancer because you just cannot quit. how is this a question? do you know how many people have been slaves to cigarretes, tried multiple times to quit, even to the point that they develop cancer, emphysema, copd, and the DOZENS of illnesses directly related to smoking. your question irritates me.

It must have curbed mine, as l gained 20 lbs when l quit and haven't lost it in almost 20 years. l wouldn't use smoking for a weight control, smoking is more dangerous than a few lbs.

I think it does. I've never smoked. But my parents used to and when they quit they both gained weight. They say when you are trying to quit you eat when you usually smoke.
