if you are talking about slices of processed cheese then i don't know.To melt real cheese cut it in cubes and add some milk.put in the microwave and watch it melt.If the milk simmers the cheese will melt so the temp must be under 212 degees

It depends on the cheese. I presume you mean for a pizza or pasta topping. I usually do 5 minuntes at 200c for mozarella.
