why is that u only consider it a relationship when u feel like there's a connection? obviously if ur seeing me then there is one!. whats up with that? if ur going out more than once or twice shouldnt that mean anything to u? call me old fashion but i think its a relationship when u start dating someone and u mutually like eachother. even if its only the first date. u guys would just hang out with a girl, just cuz- and then say u feel nothing? i want to know what u guys are thinking and why is it that now a days, thats the new trend, and i seem old fashioned.

What, are you suggesting that guys & girls should remain socially segregated except for the purpose of fiinding partners? Seriously, I'm surrounded by too many women in my life to avoid any form of contact with all but 'the one' (at that moment).

It sounds to me like you either have much stronger feelings for this one than he does for you (so far!), or perhaps you just have a tendency to attach a bit too quickly. Either way, I'd suggest you try to slow yourself down. Unless you want to scare him off.

It sounds to me like HE'S the one being more old-fashioned, not rushing headlong into a relationship till he's had time to get to know you better.

OTOH, if he truly feels nothing (not even friendship), then he should be moving on...

I dont think you are old fashioned. I think that you just have some of the concepts misunderstood. Maybe your definition of a relationship is a little different from most guys or mine. A relationship begins when two persons mutually agree to one. That is when a girl and a guy decide to start something together. It doesnt begin on a first date! That is where you get to know the other person, where you get a chance to weigh the pros and the cons, to decide if this person has what you want ovice versa. I believe though that frriendship is what you speak of. Of course persons have feelings for someone they go out with and it does mean something but that feeling doesnt mean that you two are in a relationship. And guys can hang out with a girl and feel no emotional or sexual attraction towards them- just plain friendship. There's nothing wrong with that. What i think is happening is that there is a communication problem as the guy and the girl are thinking totally different things and unless there is proper communication where both persons know what they want, then then this problem will always exist.

So i do believe you are using the term relationship rather loosely and guys do have feelings. Girls do the same thing too and guys just dont understand that all the girl is interested in is just beings friends- not being in a relationship.

Because todays teenage boys think with nothing besides the head between their legs! They are in the mindset that if they hang with you long enough, they will get into your pants, put another notch in the bedpost, and move on to the next hoo chi mama. You woman are allowing this behavior and making it continue.

I think you right. Guys need to grow up and look what they have. If you are dating someone for more that two or three dates then it is a relationship..its only common scents

Why are you trying to over interpet the guys' motivations?

Why not just go with the flow?

Sounds like you might be scaring them off.
