Ask the troop for their picture, as the military typically does not release photos to just anyone. If you do not know the troop, then one would have to question your motives.

my husband is in the military.......it is VERY hard to get any documents of people in military unless you are there spouse or mother. I've never heard of anyone getting any records unless u have proof. What kinda pic are u trying to get?

I would ask the person if I could take a photo and then I would use a camera.

What will it be used for?

If you know the person or the persons family, you ask them for a picture.

If you don't know them, you wont get it - nor should you.
