I am looking for one that is free, accurate, and easy to use. Also hopefully it contains visual, verbal/auditory, reading/writing and kinesthetic or practical methods of learning the languages plus applicable cultural backgrounds. A site that helps you fully immerse yourself into the languages barring traveling to where they are used. If this is unattainable, perhaps you might know of a site that has links to different sites of this type, each dealing with an individual language.

The best site I use when I need some cross-references etc in multiple languages and found really amazing is :http://www.word2word.com/englishpage.as The site is free, adequately structured, easy to use...When I finally found it I said to myself: Well, that's really a tesaurus! Hope to suit your searches. Best of luck!

Start by going to chatrooms, penpals, ect. Pen paling is the BEST way, I learned French and French culture like that, and I want to learn any language also. You can go to ICQ or any pen pal or language website. Try to get as many pen pals as possible. If your having a hard time understanding what their saying, use an online translator, (google, language tools). Although most usually speak English also. There are some pen pal websites, most of them, that have a language exchange program, which is, if somebody wants to learn English, and you want to learn their language, you pair up and exchange languages. Also I heard Rosetta Stone is good. The program is worth it, my sister has it and she's learning Chinese. I think it's a bit pricey though, I'm not sure. It will take time though, so you must be patient. Just try and accustom yourself in their culture and language everyday when you wake up and go to sleep and start getting used to the language. Then there is always going to the country, or student exchange, if your a student. Hope this helped :)

These are some websites with language exchange, translator, and pen pals.
