It would be fun, but we can meet Him now. Better yet we can be filled with the Holy Spirit and have Him living inside of us all of the time. That blessing didn't come until after Jesus died, rose again, and went back to heaven. (Acts Ch. 2)

If it were possible to travel back in time *and return*, I would. I'd be willing to study the languages of the time in order to function in the Judea of Pilate's praefecture for maybe *five years* to see the ministry of Jesus of Nazareth unfold (assuming he turns out to be a truly historical figure), but I wouldn't do it if I had to stay. I like air conditioning and fast food too much. And I wouldn't want to drag my family along. Too many risks.

No. I'd want to stay right here. God chose the exact time for each and every one of us to exist in this particular point in time for a reason. We are living in a (dangerous) exciting time. I think it's fascinating today to see prophecy happen before our eyes.

The real question is - are you willing to carry a cross and be crucified alongside Jesus? Our faith must become this strong, and I can't honestly say that I mine is yet.
