My twin sister likes the guy I dumped. (I think it's fine) So when a friend was over, she decided to call him while I was doing the dishes. Our friend asked him if he would go out with her, and he said yes. Then, we were going to invite him somewhere, so at 8:30 at night we called him. We knew he had a bigger house, so when he didn't answer, we called again just incase he couldn't reach the phone. Then, at 10:00 at night, we called him again to try ONE more time before we stopped calling. He didn't answer. I guess either he was annoyed and told his mom, or his mom eavesdropped and found out. So she called my mom and told her that we were harassing him. (It was 2 weeks after I dumped him) My mom got mad and told us that if you like a guy, you should wait for him to talk to you. I think that is old fashioned and stupid. How do you think his mom found out? Do you think we called too late? Do you think my mom is right? (He's supposed to stay away from us, because we'll fight over him!)

Okay...I guess the story got a bit long and confusing. I DON'T care that my sister likes him. This is NOT about a fight with her. This is about helping my sister get with him because I think they are a good match!

his mom's nosy and shouldn't be in your business, unless the guy told his mom cuz that's obviously different. 10:00 PM late? not even, unless you're under 12 or 13 and the guy has a strict curfew or something. also, i think your mom's right to a point. call him once in a while instead of several consecutive times during one night but the guy should be taking care of most of the 'courting'

Number one, if you dumped him, there should be no fight, number 2 your mom is completely right, girls are not supposed to call the guy. Thats one reason that women get named as sluts. You two need to quit playing each others games and each others dates. You can both search out your own. Yes you called to late, and if it were my son i would forbid him from seeing either one of your needy asses!

My son talks to me..... so, I would guess HE told her.

I was brought up waiting for the guy to talk to me.... I think I missed out on meeting who I would have liked to go out with because I was afraid to ask.

However, you COULD introduce yourself by eye contact.... when whoever it is makes eye contact, look him in the eye until HE looks away. He'll get the idea, if he is interested.

Don't call boys over and over again...... it only feeds their ego.
