A priest use to be the one who worked in the temple and interceded to God for his people whenever they sinned and confessed and made a sacrifice. After the death of Jesus on the cross he became our high priest and our bodies became the temple of God. A pastor is more like the disciples and apostles that came about after Jesus death - John, Paul, Timothy, etc.

A pastor is a priest in charge of a parish.
Priests are clerics, ordained by the bishop to serve the faithful in parishes.
Neither is better than the other. The pastor has more responsibilities (running the parish, running parish council, etc.)
Sorry, no Bible verses. Don't need them to explain something this simple.

You're asking a lot of questions that deal with Catholic teaching and tradition, not on specific bible passages.
A priest is, simply, anyone ordained by the Catholic church through the sacrament of Holy Orders to be a minister to the needs of the Church in Apostolic tradition. They are those who have gone through the training the Church requires to be knowledgeable in the faith (usually having degrees in theology) and have proven that they can and will live the life of service that they felt called to live.
A pastor is a priest like any other, except that he is in charge of running and serving one particular parish where he is stationed. Not only does he tend to their spiritual needs, but he also tends to the business matters of keeping the church building and any other structures and programs up and running (like a school or a soup kitchen.)

First of all, a Pastor is the head of the ministry of the congregation, mainly in Protestant churches. He/she is the one that delivers the sermon/word to the congregation. He/she is selected to be pastor by electing them or a group of deacons select he/she to be pastor. A priest is the head of the ministry of a Catholic/Anglican church. However, unlike a typical pastor, a priest has to follow certain rules, such as being celebate. Priests are also considered "charismatic", which is another difference between a pastor and a priest. What I mean by "charismatic" is that the Priest possesses holy powers given to him by God. The pastor is only considered to have the gift of delivering God's message.

Better? A priest has been ordained as having been called by God to minister to God and His people. Originally based on the Old Testament priests that ministered to God in the Tabernacle.
A Pastor in our church is the Senior priest in that parish, the others(if any) are associates. He is like the head Shepherd of the flock.
