A coworker and I are buying a bushel of peaches to split and I know I won't use all of them right away so I need to know how to freeze them for later uses.

All these are good ideas but there is a powder you need to use to keep the peaches a nice color. If you only use sugar the peaches will turn brown.
It is sold over in the canning section and I believe it is called Fruit Fresh. I haven't used it in a long time so just look in the canning section and you will find it. It will make a world of difference in the way your fruit looks when it comes out of the freezer.

Try freezing them and then taking a small bowl of them and pouring milk over them. It freezes the milk and is as good as ice cream. Delicious.

well the obvious answer is to slice them, take out the pit, but them on foil, so they dont stick or get mushy and then let them freeze. however, there are many ways to jazz this up. try putting them into vanilla icecream to make delicious semi-home made peach icecream! or you can put them in any flavor juice and freeze for a yummy slushy! hope these ideas help :)

1. cut them up however you desire
2 put about 1/2 tbsp for ever peach there is (so if its 5 peaches then put 2 1/2 tbsp of water in container)
3. sprinkle suger over them

put em in the freezer or fridge

Cut them into pieces, take out pit, cook, freeze in zip lock bag and suck the air out of the bag before sealing. This method works the best.

If you manage to suck air from a plastic bag, in which you've already put those peaches, then they'll not get brown and stay unchanged when defrosted.

You need to have fruit fresh because as they freeze they will turn brown because it takes a while to freeze them.

peel them, cut them up and put a little sugar on them and put them in air tight bowls, because baggies tend to let them get freezer burnt to quick!
