introduce him now. Tell him his baby brother/sister is in Mommy's belly. let him feel the baby move and tell him that is the baby playing with him. also get him a baby doll and tell him " this is what your brother/sister will look like, we have to be nice to the baby." if he hits or tosses the baby doll pick it up and say " ohhh rock the baby, and say no no we have to be nice to the new baby."
he will probably want to be in the baby's face all the time, I had my 2nd baby when my first was 3, even after a year my oldest is always in my youngest face. they get along great and play all the time, but sometimes my oldest will just grab my youngest and start dragging her around by the arm.
Good luck!!

Make him as much a part of the new baby's coming as possible. Take him to big brother/sister classes they are a great help. I took my son's to them and they are really informative and helped alot. Good luck!!

Introduce the baby as his baby. I did this with my youngest son when his sister was born. We sat down with her, and I would say, isn't your baby pretty? Can you be soft with your baby? Now she is 18 months and he is 3. Out of all my kids, they are the closest. He will come and sit by her when she is alseep and pat her on the back. It is very cute. But he has always thought of her as his baby.

Try to include your son in everything and try to explain to him that he is still loved. He is young so it will prob be hard on him at first, but he will adjust. Just make sure you try to set aside some alone time with him and give him the love and attention he still needs. He will be o.k. Good luck!!! Congrats!!!

introduce him as his new play buddy, but that he'll have to wait a while to play cause you have to take care of him, so that he can play when he gets bigger, and buy you son a really nice toy!
