Here are some random tips I hope will help.
Healthy hair does not break and the first step has to take place internally. Make sure your eating healthy and definitely take a multivitamin and Vitamin E and of course plenty of water or even crystal light to stay hydrated.
For the surface of your hair you need deep conditioning. V05 hot oil treatment is good, thicker fuller hair leave in conditioner, or just olive oil (doesn't have to be the expensive kind). Slather on the product before bed on clean hair and wrap it up tight so your pillows stay clean.
Avoid clorine, excessive unprotected sun exposure, overuse of styling products and heated utensils like straighteners, curling irons and chemical hair treatments.
You did not specify your hair type but if you have coarse hair use african american leave in conditioning treatments and take a respite from chemical hair treatments until your hair is healthy enough to take the strain.

I hope this helps and good luck for a beautiful mane.

Hi as i have been in this situation many times ai know how you feel, the only way to do this is not to , dye or bleach your hair, and minimise use of a hair dryer and hair straigthners. My hair was in a right state it used to snap and break off and just seemed like it stopped growing all together, as i need to use straighteners as my hair is thick and curly. I stoped using hairdyes and in stead of bow drying my hair first before i straigtend it, i let my hair dry on its own first then straigten it. Also i always use a heat protection spray one that doesnt coat your hair, i use pantene ice shine all the others make my hair worse. And always use a strengthening shampoo and conditioner and massage it into your scalp as this stimulates the cuticle and encourages your hair to grow and also use a leave in conditioner everytime you wash your hair, and use an intense conditioner every week. Also getting your dead ends cut of every 6 weeks does wonders.

What you can do is start to... deep condition with six hot oil in one (from Walmart), or any oil (just make sure that you wash it out) your hair every two weeks for the next month. Then start to oil your hair with hair oil and not oil sheen because all the oil sheen is going to do is give your hair a gloss for a moment. Try to not put heat on your hair because to much heat can cause your hair to break off. Try using the hair dryer instead of the blow dryer and the flat iron.
But the main thing is to oil your hair completely from the roots to the ends at least 2 time a week.

you cant make your hair grow quicker, its up to nature. the best thing you can do is keep your hair in great condition, use shampoo and conditioner to suit your hair type, try to avoid the excessive use of hairdryers and straightners (if you really must use heat protection spray or the like), and dont mess around with strong chemicals like colour or perms. get you hair trimmed regularrly, you may think you are cutting off the new growth, but just a tiny amount can be trimmed from the length each time and no-one wants long ropey looking hair do they?? wishing you fabulous tresses x

Well it depends. I'm african american so my hair is different. I try to keep my hair moisturized daily and then i top it off with an oil to keep the moisturizer on the scalp. I wash my hair once a week and I deep condition every other week. I do hot oil treatments every week before I shampoo and I use leave in conditioner immediately following the wash.

As for hair to grow keep it oiled an keep it clean. Don't use alot of chemicals and don't use a lot of heat (i,e, flat irons, curlers, blow dryers) Keep ends clipped.

for making your hair grow quicker you can trim it every so often to get rid of split ends and to grow. I don't know if that will stop it from breaking. I do know is what shampoo is really healthy for you and its Arbonne. you cant really get it in a hair salon.

You need to use a strenghtening shampoo and conditioner to stop your hair from breaking and add vitality to it. This is especially true if you tend to colour your hair.

There are a number of good quailty products you could use. The two i would recommend would be from the Kerastase and PHYTO lines.

Try Kerastase Bain De Force shampoo and Kerastase Vita Ciment conditioner to strenghten your hair. In addition to the shampoo and conditioner you could also copmpliment these two by using the Kerastase Force Intense treatments. This will instantly strenghten your hair and will result in a better outcome when using you shampoo and conditioner.

A alternative to the Kerastase renage is the PHYTO range, is made from 100% natural ingredients from the plant world. The main two products you could use which have strenghtening properties are PHYTO Nectar Shampoo, PHYTO Karite conditioner. This could also be complemented by using PHYTO Sesame treatment on your hair.

You can't make your hair grow quicker!
Regular trims should stop the breakage, but it could also be down to your diet. Eat lots of fresh fruit and veg and get those vitamins!!!!!

Hair growth depends on your genetic make up and body type. If you are ectomorphic , a thin and tall person, it is likely to have fast and more hair growth.
Also exposure to sun, wind and colors can harm the hair. Good nutritional diet is a must for good health and good hair.
God bless you.
