my true love, my absolute soul mate, and i have to be apart for an indefinate amout of time. we are both 33 and have 4 kids between us. the future is uncertain save for the fact that the deep, deep love and understanding we have for each other is not likely to go away. do i wait for him in the hopes that one day we will be able to do what we truely want: marry? or do i go on with my life, happy and satisfied that i was able to experience this before i died?

you cant answer that question without first knowing why you have to be apart is he going to jail are you going to school what?

i guess i am a hopeless romantic, but if he is your one true love and your soul mate, I don't know why you have any questions. Hopefully, you don't just want to marry ANYONE. If you want to marry him, then wait until the time is right and it will happen. my question is this: why can't you marry now? is he still married or are you? why are you apart now?

Why can't you get married? Is he married? If he is married, dump him. If he hasn't married you during the time of having the children, he won't.
