Fish is traditionally not considered meat. This goes back to the catholic practice of not eating meat on Friday. People would eat fish instead. Scientifically fish are animals so if you consider meat to be the flesh of an animal then yes fish is a meat.

Vegetarians may quarrel about fish being a meat. It is flesh from an animal and a source of protein. That falls into the meat category.

We certainly hear often enough that fish is a healthy alternative to meat. It’s lower in fat, a good source of protein, and rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which can help reduce heart disease risk. The American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Dietetic Association (ADA) recommend eating fish at least twice a week—if not more. But fish can sometimes contain the toxic metal mercury.

Health experts still insist that overall, the health benefits of fish outweigh its risks if you choose your seafood wisely. The bottom line is that most men—and women who are not pregnant—can safely follow the AHA and ADA recommendations of eating fish twice a week. But pregnant women and young children should focus on fish with the lowest levels of mercury.

Yes, but it not considered red meat or poultry. Often, you will see meats grouped in a phrase like, "meats and fishes", but I think that is just for clarification.

Well not neccesarily, a fish has fish that you eat, though it does have protein just like meat, but I wouldn't call fish meat

Yes, and you shouldn't eat it. Meat is the flesh of a living animal, and for humans to eat meat means the life of a living creature.

It sure is, I am a sportsman and I get my meat from a fish the same way I used to get it from mammels. (I do not hunt any longer). I'll spare the gory details but none the less it is meat.
