I'll revise my answer after having researched it. Despite the adolescent ramblings of Choi and others, the real data from PGA Tour stats keeper SHOTLINK says that 2.9 out of 10 of those 10 footers go in. At 6 feet a PGA Tour pro makes only 51% of them. SHOTLINK does not lie and compiles data over the entire season giving a good approximation of what the average putt will do. That was implied by the question Choi (an obvious imbecile). As for me, I'm a solid 6 and would play you for any amount of money you like off of that number.

I think I read somewhere where the average Tour player would make about 4-5 out of 10 - 10 foot putts. It's tougher than it looks, even for the Big Boys!

3-7 ft range, 9 out of 10
8-12 ft range, 7 out of 10
13-20 ft range, 4 out of 10
20+, 1 out of 10
In the end it really depends on the course, the greens, and the golfer. This is just the average.

Butch C your a dumbass... it depends on the difficulty of the putt.. on a relatively flat putt 8 times out of ten an average tour player sinks a 10 footer. I know thats hard for a 20 handicapper like yourself, Butch C, to comprehend but its true.

My guess would be that a pro would make 60% from 10'.
