I assume cute is not making any reference to beauty or attractiveness right? If not then things change, but when you meet someone nice and you want to say you're cute then you use the above provided phrases.

Cute, means "linda" (female) o "lindo" (male)
So you could say: Eres lindo (to a man or boy) or
Eres linda (to a girl or woman)
