Can you quote exactly where in the Bible god specifically says that you're going to go to hell? The message of the bible doesn't teach about going to Hell at all. it is mentioned in few texts that the punishment for unrepentant sins is damnation, however greater portion of the Bible is about divine and everlasting love.

"Love is always patient and kind; it is never jealous; love is never boastful or conceited; it is never rude or selfish; it does not take offense, and it is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people's sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes. Love does not come to an end. "

"But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you..." This is from the Book of Matthew, which is mostly about Love, for God, his Son, and everyone else. As well as the Books of John, Luke, Romans, and Corinthians.

You probably thought you had an intelligent question, but sadly you were greatly mistaken. The 'haha' at the end of the question should garner angry responses, which I'm sure is what you'd expect most Christian responses to be as the purpose of this question is simply to arouse anger amongst Christians, but you're nothing special as you haven't done anything new along with the other anti-Christian remarks that plague Yahoo! Answers. I've provided two sources for you, so until you can do the same you're just a child seeking attention. So here it is. I might give you more if you have an intelligent response.

Hehe. Do the words "can of worms" mean anything to you? I bet you get some fiesty answers on this one!

I don't think God is the terrorist here, at any rate. The church at times has CERTAINLY been terroristic...can anyone say "Inquisition"? What about the Crusades? Witch burning? Just to name a few.

IMO MAN wrote the Bible, not God. So it is man who was attempting to use fear to coerce people into being a certain way, not God. I think if anything, Jesus was sent here to say hey peeps, you're getting this all wrong. Just be good and love each other!!!

God is not a terrorist, but he is a loving Father that gives consequences to his children when they are not obeying his direction.

If your parents were conducting themselves as parents, you would have consequences for disobedience of their rules, boundaries, and instruction. If you disobeyed or ignored what they told you or even, to their face, called them terrorists--I would hope you would have fear in you that you had crossed the line and were about to be punished.

Well, Our Heavenly Father is no different. So, if you are a brat, an unruly child, and if you have no respect for the rules and instruction set out in the Bible---hold on, because God told us all what the punishments would be. There will be no surprises.

Terrorism is by definition using fear to get what you want. God is regarded as all knowing, all powerful, and infallible. This means that assuming he is real that he knew 10 trillion years before man was crested everyone that would go to hell and why. Being all powerful means that the only reason that any are condemned is because god decided to condem them, not because there is some natural pattern that dictates that result. Through out the bible god holds man to a standard that he himself/herself can t even live up to. He says though shall not kill, then orders Gideon to commit genocide against a tribe that s only crime was not accepting the Hebrew doctrine ordering him to and I quote, " Kill the men, the women, their pets and livestock, and infants in their cribs. Burn their cities and tear down their temples leaving no trace of them behind. The chaotic and Christian religion were literaly written in the blood of people that god ordered killed in his name. Which means that not only does god say do as I say not as I do or spend eternity suffering for it. But also constantly orders his people to murder and kill in his name. This is latterly the very definition of the word terrorism as the only reason non believers must suffer is for not following the order of a god that cannot follow them himself. So yes every god is by definition of what they are terrorists. Furthermore as any religious person, goes to church, preaches the words of their god, and pays tithe, literaly supporting god and the church in every definition of the word support, then every religious person by definition supports terrorism. They just choose to believe that their interpretation of god gives them divine right and makes it any less of an abhorible act. Ironic it is that we as Americans have a mentality that we don t nagotiate with terrorists yet on all our money it says in god we trust. Read the Old Testament you will see nothing more than the story of a nomadic people that saw a rich inhabited land and killed everyone that didn t believe in their god or would submit to them taking their land. Religious people study the bible but few actually bother studying the actual historical facts regarding the regions and times in which the bible was written.

If all you get out of the bible is that fear is your only motivation for following god then your reading it improperly. Fear/Awe are one of the reasons but not all of it. The same could be said of a parent, if the only reason you don't do something is because your afraid that your parent might discipline you then your parents are terrorist. They do the things they do out of love, unfailing, unquestioning love. Are there rules that have to be followed...sure, but it's not just out of fear that it's done.

So...prove God wrong and send me some nude pictures of yourself (wich would be a sin).

No, not really...we as believers do not commit sins because we love God...not because were afraid to go to hell...we try to not sin, but we do and we are all human and will sin, but if asked for forgiveness God will listen and forgive you for your sins.

By the way, just kidding about sending me the nude pictures...I was just being a smartazz...and God: I appologize for that...

Actually, it is the writings of humans & their interpretations that have led to this belief of yours. Do you believe in a pitchfork and barbed tail of the devil as well?

Think things through for yourself.

If an all-powerful entity exists, it sure as hell (LOL) isn't a terrorist!

The Bible is a metaphoric piece of literature that has been interpreted many times from its original version. Those who take it literally are fools.
God is not a terrorist, those who have interpreted it for their own cause are.

No God is in no way a terrorist, the bible is not to make us afraid. God knowns we are not perfect, which is why he sent his only son, to die for our sins. If we ask him, he will forgive us of all our sins, if we truely are sorry for them,
