Puppies are SO incredibley cute and I thought I "had to have one", after going through a year of puppy hood my husband and I have decided that next time we would adopt a dog that needs a good home from the shelter just because they are over their puppy stage of chewing and hyper all time. Puppies are like babies, or at least mine was, and he would get up once or twice a night and super early in the morning, therefore...next time we'll have a full grown dog!

I like puppies because they are so cute! But grown up dogs are much more fun to play with. I'd have to say, both.

Grown up dogs. While puppies are cute they have sharp teeth that like to chew on everything even people. House trainning is no fun. You have to pretty much watch them at all times. Dogs are like your best friend that can go everywhere with you

I like puppys because its so sad to see a full grown dog past away at least with puppies youll be with them longer. And you get to teach them tricks (you know the saying you cant teach an old dog new tricks? Its true)

I like grown dogs because they already have a set personality. Puppies are still learning. It is easier to know how the dog is going to act if you get one already grown up from the SPCA.

Puppies seem to have a more tender meat, but you cant beat the flavor of a good fat 6 year old dog. I reccommend chocolate labs.

either watching a grown-up doggy playing w/ puppies, or just in between, say 2 yrs. old is good.
