There are suggestions (such as the dead sea scrolls) that things in the Bible may not be entirely based on the events of the times. After all, it was basically written by politicians, politicians of religion. They have the same motives as the politicians of today, and will twist the truth to serve their purpose. Yet, it still seems that there is no real proof that it happened like that. I do think that the Da Vinci Code is a work of fiction, someone's imagination at work. It was a good book anyhow.

the author himself said that the da vinci code was a fiction story when he first wrote it.
people are taking too far, and claiming it to be truth. This is a classic example of the ignorance of the masses. people will believe what they want to believe, or what they fear to be true.

No, its just another excuse to make a couple million dolllars for the fat cats in Hollywood. Ever heard the expression, "a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing" If it had been God's purpose to have Christ have children it would have happened.
Leaders in Europe ( was it the French) were just looking for a reason to give their King
an edge by saying he was the descendant of Christ.

Honestly, I think it's utter bollocks. Any man who writes so crappily as Dan Brown cannot possibly know what he's talking about when it comes to history. I'm not even Christian and I have a hard time believing that garbage.
