I went to Christian School through 4th grade. Then 4th & 5th grade Homeschool. 6th & part of 7th Public School. 7th & 8th Home School. High School, Public School.

It takes some adjustment to get used to a different type of schooling. In "regular" school you are around people all the time, interacting. You can also "hide" in the group setting of classes. That's not as easy when you are at home.

You will have less social interaction with people your age, even if you seek it out through sports, church, etc. You will also be more accountable for doing your work in a home school setting.

One thing I liked about home school was that, if I got my basic work done, I could follow my interests. For instance, I took Tennis lessons during the day for P.E. I also did a lot of extra work in History because that was my favorite subject. Also I went to the Library every week and took out armloads of books.

You'll have more time to play on the computer than you did before. You'll find that you can complete your work in half the time as a regular school day because there's just not as much b.s.

If you start to feel isolated, let your parents know that you need more social contact.

In my experience with my own child, he was not learning what he needed in the public school. The classes was over crowded and he needed one on one time which he was not receiving so i took him out and enrolled him in the state homeschooling program. It was the best thing i could of done for him.He was an F student now hes an B student.Home school programs have everything your child needs and more. Here they pay the Internet bill, give you a computer,no school fees, free books. They have a principle, prom .graduation, counselors, field trips with his whole class.parent teacher meetings just like in public school. He has to meet his teachers at the local library for all his test so they can see him take them..this is a wonderful program.I also enrolled him in the YMCA for more activities..He still see all of his friends and more.Ohio has a wonderful home school program called ECOT.com..the best thing i ever done for him and our family. You can still get in trouble in the class room just like public school though so behave..

This question is unclear.
Who is being taken out of what?
What is your connection and what do you want to know about?
