Nope, I'd call you a proud American.

You're not being a bad American, you're just being biased. You shouldn't refuse to buy a product because the labeling is in another language besides English. It should be the quality of the product that you should be looking for. for example, I'm trying to buy some tomato sauce and I see one that has Hispanic writing, but it looks good, and there is another one that only has English writing, but it's been tampered with and looks old and gross...which one would you choose. In the end it's the quality that matters.

NO. That is what makes America a great country (you have the right NOT to buy these products.) If more people would do the same, the manufacturers of the products will concede, but the population of the USA isn't as conscience of the issue. Most Americans are more concerned about who's gonna get voted off "American Idol" than the issues of immigration.

It depends on your reason, but try thinking- if all the people in the world would refuse to buy any product that has "American English" writing on it.. would you consider us bad?

The surface of a product does not show everything, many Hispanic manufacturers export their products but are "relabelled"...

If you had bad experience about it before, it's understandable -but if without any reason at all....

-- Still, you are not bad, you are just not aware and inconsiderate without proper reason.

'hispanic' isn't a language, 'hispanic' refers to ethnicity...you don't speak 'caucasian', you speak 'english'. If you refuse to buy products labeled in spanish, that's up to you, although my view is that by supporting imports from mexico and guatemala etc. that you're actually supporting the legitimate economies of those countries, something they desperately need. The more these countries can stand on their own two feet, the less 'bums rush' immigration you'll see and hence less problems. We'll always be neighbors with Mexico and central america, better if we were good ones. Support building the border fence and more legitimate cross-border trade. If they're supporting their own, and exporting to us, then you know things are going well for them. If we're supporting them and their citizen base is running away from their domestic problems, they'll never actually be solved.
So, if I was you I'd buy that mexican corn flour etc...support their legitimate businesses so their people can support themselves and turn away from things like drug dealers that get to run their economy by default. If Mexico's got a healthy economy, it's win-win for america...

If this was the case then maybe I should stop buying products that have American English written on them. Because you have corrupted a beautiful language, and when I speak to any American in proper formal English they have no idea what I am talking about.

Your patriotism has nothing to do with your commercial habits. I hope you don't plan on taking any medication, ever again. Because all drugs are required under law to list instructions in no less than three of the most common languages of the country in which they're sold. They do that so people dont kill themselves by accidental overdose.

Hope you don't mind living without TVs, Stereos, Computers, and all other electronical mediums. These companies sell to more people than just Americans and it doesn't matter to them in the slightest if seeing a bit of funny looking text offends you.

The best thing for you to do I think is to find yourself a little mountian with a bunch of people who look like you, talk like you, and act like you. Go there, and stay there. You'll be happy. And none of us will have to deal with your petty responce to a far more serious problem.

No. Just stupid. What is Hispanic writing? Do you means Spanish? Get with the program or move to Antarctica. There are a lot of legal residents and citizens in this country who speak Spanish. In Antarctica, there are none.
