This really depends on a person's moral standards.. for me, I wouldn't have sex with someone I didn't really care about. I'm at 5 and that number I'm sure is stopped now. But that's only because I'm in a relationship I'm happy with and want to stay with. Some people have many caring realtionships in their life. On average though, it's safe to say that men have a higher number of partners than women.

I am 28 and I have had.. 6 or 7. Im not a bad looking woman, I just go for the long relationships and practice a whole lot! :D Im also a pretty hard score.. which is good and bad. Bad right now cause Im newly single.. but good too cause I know I wont get pregnant or an STD very easily.. *smirk* One beautiful daughter is enough for now!

there r no guidelines when concerned with how many sexual partners a guy should have had by the time he reaches a certain age. It really depends upon the circumstances and what he is happy with. The same thing is with a woman

It is interesting that you think it may be different for men and women! I think this double standard is stupid! Grow up and realize that it doesn't matter. Some people have more for whatever reason. Maybe they fall in Love sooner and get used, maybe they have a wild period, maybe they choose bad partners. All that matters is that they are faithful.
Personally in my 42 years I have had 4 partners. I only wish it were fewer.

Hard to say, I've had 7 at 28 now but I certainly haven't been looking for it constantly as others I know do. It can vary and honestly I don't really know where I stand compared to the average, probably on the low end.

Well the average over a life time (in britain) is about 10, but this take in to fact that women lie about how many they've had.

One is ideal. Life is not all about sex. The more sexual partners you have, the more your chances of catching sexually transmitted diseases, especially HIV/AIDs. There's no price to pay for being reserved in that angle but to make your life border around sex is more or less a death sentence, misery, fear and what have you. I dont wish you dead. Do stay alive and healthy and enjoy life better with one sex partner at thirty.
