You certainly have a full plate. Do you enjoy all of those things? When you are young, it is important to try a bunch of stuff, but you aren't going to find fulfillment in just being good at things. You have any friends? You should probably spend more time just hanging out. What you are doing sounds a lot like work, and let me tell you, work never ends, but being young does. Relax a little. I wouldn't be happy if I had to do all that stuff either.

no, no homecoming queen is a nerd! You are just really smart. Just remember to have fun too. I don't see how any parent could not be proud. Are you certain they aren't?
Some things to ask yourself:
1 Do they think you are doing to much or to little?
2 Why aren't they happy? Maybe you should have a talk with them.
3 Are you happy?
4 If you aren't happy then what can you do to make yourself happy?
You are obviously doing plenty of stuff so maybe you need to slow down and enjoy life a little more!

You're a nerd if you think so, just be sure to own your own identity. Besides perhaps the need to learn modesty and humility, you are doing very well for yourself.

If your parents can't be satisfied with you, they never will be. You will torture yourself trying to live up to their expectations. Your parents are very important people in your life and they deserve respect, reverence and your love. However, you don't have to live up to your parents expectations. You don't even have to do anything close to what they want you to do. I was very much like you (reading your question was eerie) and I had let my parents dictate my direction in life more than I could have ever even let myself believe. And I ended up starting my young adult life doing the completely wrong thing for me. Realizing this and making the turnaround was very tough, but very beneficial.

You need to really know what you want, and not what your parents want. It will be very hard, but it takes really listening to yourself and going with your gut instinct on these matters that decide your life. You may even try to make excuses for why you can't do what you want, but try to recognize when you're making these arbitrary excuses.

You could be unhappy because you're not doing what you want. Think hard young lady, I would tell you to go out and find yourself, but you really are involved in a lot of activities, I'm sure you know deep down which ones you actually really enjoy.

Hope this helps.

You sound like the kind of person I like...not nerdy, just smart. I've been naturally good at mostly everything and it's good to know I'm not the only one. I've never studied but I've gotten A's in everything. There's nothing wrong with you. It sounds like everything's easy for you so you don't have to push yourself much. Trust me, find something very difficult to do, and you and your parents will be much happier with you, even though, like I said, there's nothing wrong with you.

You sound like a wonderful person. You don't sound like a nerd/geek. Don't worry about pleasing everyone else in your life. Concentrate on what makes YOU happy. Only then will you be content with yourself and your accomplishments.

Good luck :)

No! All your accomplishments only mean that you are very smart and active (good for you, you'll get far in this world).

In my opinion, 'geek' describes strangely obsessed persons, while 'nerd' describes socially inept ones.
