Seems as if most all women are attracted to taller men. I am only 5'9", very discouraging - guess I could always move to Japan.

umm.....5'9" is not short......stop feeling sorry for yourself......imagine if you were 5'2".....then i would say move to Japan.....lol

Nothing beats a failure, but a try. Taller women prefer taller men for obvious reasons. I'm only 5'3" and I like that because most men are taller then I am and 5'8" or 9" is not bad. Look to shorter women. Also don't sell yourself short (no pun intended), there are some taller women that really don't care. I had a friend who was probably 5'0" and his woman was about 6'0". He used to sit on her lap all the time, I thought is was funny, but love doesn't care about that stop. Don't give up, be brave and adventurous.

5'9 is not that short and most girls would go out with a guy who is not that tall. I did once, although it turn out to be a disaster (not because of height but because he was an ***). anyhow, just ask girls who are shorter then you out. Most girls are more interested in the type of guy you are then what you look like. If that is your only shortcoming then you got nothing to worry about.

5'9" is not bad. Most women are 5'5" on average. I am 5'6" so you would still be taller than me. It really shouldn't matter, unless all you are around are 6 foot models!
You will find someone who likes you for you!

If you think women judge you based on your height (and 5'9 is very average), then you are right -- just stop trying.
We don't care about your height or your hair or any of the other stuff you boys obsess about on this site. Women (not girls) care about intelligence, personality, compassion, kindness, etc...

That's not that bad... my friend's dad is only five feet six, her mom is taller than her dad and they're living in a very content life. Believe in your self, it's not the looks that matter in a man, it's the heart. ^__^

hahaha...I guess that would be one solution. I know for me, I am 5'10 so I look for taller guys..however, if I was shorter, I'd go for the shorter guys. I just feel uncomfortable wearing heels with someone who is shorter than me!

If it isn't one thing its another, for you its your height...average height for a girl is 5'6"...so look on the bright side, most girls look up to you...and if you give up and don't look back then you'll miss your opportunity...stay in the game...someone is looking for you out there...good luck.
