Assuming that these aliens were able to communicate easily with us, understand human concepts, etc., how long would it take before you started telling them that your religion was what they needed? What if they had their own religious beliefs? Lets say that their religious beliefs contradicted your own. Would you tell them that they were completely wrong and your religion was completely correct?

Do they have money? The more money they have the faster people will try to convert.

I wouldnt tell them anything. But I do know some people that would bring them for a long pickup truck ride in the countryside, then pull the car over and tell them about how they fear for the alien's soul and how they should convert immediately if they want to come to human heaven. Then I would hope that the aliens would anal probe them, erase their memories and brain wash them into thinking that are a chosen people. Actually, I think the anal probe would be enough, their own religion has covered the other stuff.

Great hypothetical question!

Personally, as a Wiccan, I would never try to make anyone believe what I believe as it is a tenant to honor the beliefs of others. If I were asked what I believe by someone, I would tell them. If asked to elaborate, I would do so. But, I would never try to convert anyone! If someone wanted taught, I have and would direct them to some literature and leave it at that. One finds their own path if allowed that luxury. What ever that path may be is right as long as it doesn't hurt anyone, another tenant.

If another religious group were trying to force their beliefs on these beings, I would stand firmly against it. When a group forces another into their beliefs, the whole fabric of the others group is rent and most likely never resewn.

As to Christians trying to convert? The moment they land.

No. It is my belief that ALL religion on the face of the Earth is ancient, archaic, and based on ideas created by people 2000 years ago and farther who didnt have anywhere near the knowledge we have today! How ludicrous to believe in God as people did back then! We have evolved in every aspect of life EXCEPT religion. Christians for instance can interpret the Bible any way they want yet an outsider with an opinion is committing heresy yet today! ALL religion today is nothing more than a hindrance to mankind. Its time to update it or get rid of the idea all together. I doubt seriously any intelligent life form outside of our world would commit to such drivel!

What is those aliens were already true christians? Then I could then relax and not worry about trying to convert them.
How long would it take some evolutionists to enforce Darwinism on them? lol

The question is really a comical one as you could put any circumstances like I just did and turn it around 360.
Truth is that God has already given mankind all the information he needs so true christians do not have to concern themselves with needless hypothetical questions and just keep to the business they need to do.

It depends on what religion you are talking about. A Missionary religion would most probable. Most religion however aren't missionary, so most would not.

How often has a Hindu tried to push their faith on you? or a Buddhist? how about a Jew or a Rastafarian? Pagans typically knock on your door and try and show you the truth?
