Already this relationship is set up for failure. You already have plans to change him/her because they are not up to "standards". If you see someone you like you should appreciate how they are the moment you like them. If you see things you want to change move on, because you really don't like them.

Why should he/she have to lose weight for you to ask her/him out? That's ridiculous. Maybe this is God's lesson to you. Love or like them for who they are. Not what they look like. If he/she wants to lose weight that is great. Good luck getting a date after you tell them they are too fat for your liking. That will stick with them for life. Don't do it.

That is really freaking mean!!!!!If you really liked the person u would like them just the way they are.....not basically say..well if u lose ( blank) many pounds then i'd date u,but right now your just too fat for me!!!Yep thats sounds REAL nice doesn't it!!!
How would u like that if it was turned around???If u want to ask the person out..u should like them just as they are(fat and all) U people are really shallow u know that!

well, if you asked this person to lose weight only out of concern for their health, that would be acceptable. but to ask them 2 lose weight just so they can live up to your dating standards is a little bit like saying "i would ask you out, but you're too fat."

VERY shallow of you. Say for example, you are self conscious about a big nose and someone asks you to get a nose job before they'll go out with you? Hmmmmm.......not reasonable, is it? If you are attracted to someone and wont go out with them because you are worried about what someone else will say because you are with them, you have issues to deal with separate from this one. You need to grow up. Or another scenario, they lose weight on their own and wont give YOU the time of day.

why dont you ask him out first ,, he must have something that you are finding attractive,,
ask him out then after a short period tell him you would love to see how good looking he would be minus a few excess pounds,,
challenge him to lose the weight for you and encourage all the time,,
some people eat because they are unhappy with some part of their life..
make him happy,, ask him out and then fine tune his body,,
dont forget sex is one of the best forms of excersice available
good luck to both of you
lol

if you like the person already and want to ask them out then why do they have to lose weight first. you sound like a very swallow person. you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover.
