Chat up lines are worth it, unless they are offencive. Lets face it most girls are not so stupid to think "oh I'm going to completely write this guy off because he used a rubbish chat up line!" If we like you then, we will be waiting to see where you go next with it. If we don't like the look of you we will use the chat up line as an excuse to not talk to you!
I think they are flirty and sexy. They let you know what the guys intentions are.

Sometimes chat up lines work because the girl is receptive and sees it as an attempt at humour rather than believing what you say. The best thing is to try and say something interesting and listen to what she has to say and go with that for best results.

If you use chat up lines in a conversation with a girl you can't act like you were serious, they'l think your a cool sort of bloke and you can chat! if they take offence by it and think your a loser there's no point, because they are boring and/or completly square!!

I don't know about the others but on yahoo it is full of bots trying to get you to look at porn or chat with me in Pvt for $5.95 a min it is frigging ridiculous so i say yahoo chat is just a porn place

All I can say is don't use yahoo hcat. That thing has evolved into a porno distribution site. One person after the other just throwing things at you with their porno website.
