It has been a big debate. A future dominated by Microsoft technologies or the Open source alliance. Which one will be predominant? What is the future of companies like Google who is widely claimed to bring OS via the Internet.

open source will rule the future. The base of operation for open source has the potential to grow larger and faster than Microsoft on the basis that it can be used by nearly anybody. Microsoft is it's own little universe that doesn't quite have the same type of room for growth and improvement.
