New religions (cults) are started every day. The yougest mainstream religion I would think is Scientology.
Keep in mind, that all religions start as cults.

This is a difficult quetison to answer without quantifiers. I suppose there are religions or denominations of established religions growing out there right now. If you had said, which is the youngest religion of the world's great religions. That could be answered. If you said which of the christian denominations was the youngest that could be answered. Or, is there something other than the three Great religions that is new, that could be answered. I am afraid this will probably remain an open question.

The Muslim religion is the youngest
The Chiristian Religion came before it the muslim
Then the Jewish Religion
Next the pagan
Before that The Creator of Life was the Frist and only religion in the world

Well its not actually a religion, but you could say that the course in miracles is the newest belief system.
It is like an antidote for any religion that teaches that God is judgmental and punishing.
It give a far clearer vision of a loving God. Makes you wonder how you ever beileved in the old silly made up god at all.
You should try it.

There are new religions being founded everyday. So right now somebody somewhere is founding one. But there will be a newer religion still when you will be reading this.

Mine is! I just finished reading Leo Tolstoy's "Kingdom of Heaven is Within You", and I'm sold! I have just created my own new Christian Church based on the principle of "Love thy Neighbor". This differs from all existing churches. Existing churches tolerate the killing of man through the organized governments of nations with their formation of armies to murder on a big scale. In my new church, the words of Jesus are taken literally. Also, my new church does not make Jesus out to be any more special than anyone else--only wiser. Jesus never claimed to be any more special than you and I. He said we were all special. God is in all of us to an equal degree. You are my brother/sister. I am yours. We are both part of God. Join my new church!
