Well, it won't take out the orange, but it will cover it. Eventually pink hair dye (semi-permanent, if you use Manic Panic like me) turns somewhat orange, and then you'll have to re-dye it. They say if your hair is brassy after you bleach it, to use a toner, but they DO NOT WORK. The best thing to do if you want the brassy out (without using pink first) would be to use a box blonde (I used Borne Blond Maxi) which works well. I kinda have mac 'n cheese hair color because I failed at doing my roots. And I think pink hair dye comes out best, I've had purple, blue, black, etc and they all turn greenish, but pink fades into almost natural! GOOD LUCK.

Definatly pink, but bright pink not baby pink
i had slices of brite pink thru my hair and i loved it!
Orange wud be cool....but will be a nitemare to cover or grow out, at least you can die stuff over the top of pink!

neither! Your roots will have to be done all the time and it could look tacky, but if you don't mind all that I would go for pink seeing as it is your first choice! I think you should just get highlights done if you want a different style but hey, it's up to you!
