I dont know about cunning and witty, but if its laughs youre trying to get, just go around asking that question to all your coworkers. Youll be a hit comedic success in minutes.

You could start by being a total smart ***. Also, any gossip you hear, start spreading it around! Or start a juicy rumor yourself, just say: I heard this (make up whatever) about (so & so) and was wondering if its true?
Why do you want to change? Are the people you work with brutal & you are looking for a way to defend yourself?

I know what is your problem. This is the common problem in every office. Instead of changing yourself to a cunning person, you should change yourself to be a clever person.

Why would you want to be cunning and witty?Just be yourself.I know that nice people are the least appreciated in this world.But the really important people in your life would appreciate your niceness.To hell with the rest of them.
