If your serious about this book I'll give you a great pairing.
2 would work well.
For my red of choice it must be a Zin.
For the white a Gewurztraminer is the grape your looking for.
Champagne is what I would drink.Bubbles and high acid cut thru the fat and cleans the palate for that next yummy chip.
Good luck with the book.

Fried chicken and hamburgers go great with champagne also!

I would say any dry white wine would go fine because of the cheese flavoring in the Doritos.

Champale, naturally. Not technically wine.

How about a nice cheap Muscatel?
