It is hard, dried and has wrinkles all on it.
When you eat it ---it is sour.

If its dry on the inside and the outside is molding or turning green.

See if the outside looks drawn up and not plump. Also, smell it. If you cut it open and it doesn't look fresh, then it probably has gone bad.

If it's green, it's usually bad.
But the mold could be psychedelic, so try eating it anyways.

it usually will have a hard,shriveled skin, or green fur on it.
