to placed it bluntly - if he does no longer start up the sauce from scratch then he's deceptive! i exploit Dolmio only as an emergency, what I do use to assist me p.c. up the approach if I start up from scratch - is that I always keep a litre of tomato passata contained in the living house so i am going to attempt this sauce and it style 100x better than Dolmio with further bits ;-) His sauce does no longer count number

I doubt it, tomato-based sauce is so easy to make properly, I can't imagine why anyone uses crap like Dolmio.

Nope. They use Barilla or Buitoni, usually (or home-made sauce if they can afford to spend so much time preparing it!).

(But the Dolmio Sauce ad I saw was simply GREAT!)

I highly doubt they do...I can't stand those Dolmio adverts..."When's your Dolmio day?" Never! I hate Dolmio!

doubt it. They probably have their mama's make batches and batches of it and freeze it.
