You should try Anglesey. It's absolutely beautiful there. Some stunning beaches.

Hope you have a great holiday!

Barmouth has a nice campsite across the road from the beach, there is also a campsite in Shell Island - its quiet there, but no far away from Barmouth.

Also quite a few places to stay in Rhyl and Towyn.

there's a touch campsite at Zennor in North Cornwall that's beautiful. image postcard little village with historic literary connections, a tiny museum, a sweet little pub and a tiny dairy. surprising walks alongside the cliffs to Gurnard's Head (yet another magnificent pub with a large enclosed backyard acceptable for little ones yet large adequate for those without little ones to take exhilaration in too!). the campsite itself isn't 'distant' notwithstanding the village is. it really is a acceptable blend!

Try Tal-y-Bont. Very good, or used to be. Haven't been for some time though.. It's close to Barmouth, Fairborne, Shell island etc. and close to mountains for walks too. Check out Cader Idris and all the legends associated with it.......
Enjoy.

Prestatin or Rhyl is the area for that.
