When you feel one coming, try to relax and not tense up your stomach and anal muscles. In other words, don't put any pressure behind it (like you do when you are trying to force a bowel movement).

This will not stop the fart from coming, but may allow it to come out with a soft whoosh that only you can hear, versus a fart sound.

This will not stop it from being stinky if it is going to be, however. We all have stories of the SBD's - silent but deadly.

Stinkys are controlled by having regular bowel movements, and not eating stinky food. Or, as the other answer said, Beano.

LOL, supposedly it has nothing to do with what you eat according to some websites I've seen, but I'm almost positive that eating beans will cause you to fart more often. Don't listen to the girl above, holding them in is not good for your system. However, it's disrespectful, for my culture anyways, to fart in public. Find a secluded area and do your business. LOL

go outside and let itgo!, go to the bathroom. what i do issit directly above my ****** squeeze my legs together, usually cross my ankles and let it go. usually the chair will absorb the nitrogen in the gas and after about 10-15 mins i can get up without people falling on the ground gasping for air.
also I stay away from brocolli, cauliflower, heavy dark beers and taco bell burritos!
there are some other things but thats enough

Two ways

One - Identify all those food that can cause you to fart..!! And avoid taking it.

Two - Adjust your butt cheecks in such a way that, the fart goes out without any sound..

If it is coming, let it come. Everyone farts.. Ooops.. I just did

um i say if you got to fart just let it go and fart because if you keep holding it in it will make you feel uncomfortable eventually its going to come out.its just something natural your body has to do so it can get rid of the extra gas your body doesn't need.if i have to fart i just do i don't care what people think lol I'm like hey its only natural right

1 watch what you eat, the way the body digests certain foods produces a gas called methane. i know cauliflower and beans have huge reputations for this, but im thinking any protein like meats could have a hand too

2. take beano before, there'll be- no gas!

I guess that has to do with what you consume. Try not to eat anything that makes you want to fart.

I squeeze it out gently so it makes no noise when I am at work. Like right now. See, nobody hears it. If they smell it no one says anything. They just eat it and grin.
