I don't know where you r located but there is a shop called Once unpon a Child they sell and buy used childrens clothes at reasonable prices. You can look it up on the net and see if there is one near you they are all over. You can take your childs old clothes in and they give you cash or put it toward new clothes buy and sell there all the time. They only seem to take in really nice stuff.

I buy all my daughter's clothes from Old Navy. Closer to school starting you will find really good sales like jeans 2 for $20. When going to Wal-Mart you can buy jeans for the same price, but they won't last as long. My daughter is VERY gentle on her clothes and Wal-Mart clothes never last her the school year. When we brought her the Old Navy jeans they last through her and my friends two little girls. They also have t-shirts for like 2 for $6. I would suggest you check out http://oldnavy.com and look there.

eBay, Wal-Mart and Old Navy. I shop at these places constantly because I have three boys (12, 5 and 2) and am always going through clothes.
You can find GREAT deals on clothing lots and seperates on eBay if you don't mind waiting. But if you need them immediately I would go to Wal-Mart or Old Navy.
I go to Wal-Mart and not Target because I don't find there is much difference in the quality but there is with the prices.

Do you have a Goody's Family Clothing near you? They have a lot of nice things at great prices. I spent $13 in there once and came out with a Duck Head button up shirt in big boys, 2 cute knit shirts and a sun dress in big girls, and an outfit in toddlers.
This one other time, I bought myself a pair of really cute Nike tennis shoes for $20.

I do most of my clothes shopping for my child at Walmart, or places like Kmart or JCPenney if I happen to catch something on sale. I've been very lucky however, with people giving me second hand kids clothes, and also a mother who loves spoiling her only grandchild!

Try Gabriel Brothers. It is a discount department store that gets the leftovers that regular department stores don't have room to store. I went there with $20.00 and got 4 shirts and 2 skirts for my daughter. Look it up on the web under Gabriel Brothers. It is worth it, even if you have to drive a ways.
