No. That only happens in cartoons.
They also don't get big X's over their eyes.

Not true. Dogs when they are not comfortable with there surroundings will not show their bellies. If they lay on their backs, then they are not afraid of an attack. They are happy and secure.

No this isn't true at all. Like humans, they can be in various positions...almost always lying down as if they are sleeping.

Not that i know of. this might have been her expierence with one dog, a few that I have seen from tv shows were laying on their side.
