when I leave for work but when I get home from work it starts just fine and runs fine I drive all over the place but in the morning it will start for a sec. then cuts off.

Sounds like the IAC valve is sticking, Its the idle air control valve, Have some one like a Ford mechinac to show you where it is and replace it. The vavle is sticking and causing this problem. When you crank it and its not starting mash the throttle down just a little and if it starts and runs then let off the throttle and it dies then IT IS the IAC. Seen this many many times.

Do not steam clean your engine what you may have is the control module that is bad. If you can find it take it out when the car fails to start heat it up probably wrap it in a clean cloth and put it in the oven get it warm to hot and then put it back in the car and it will probably start. The module calculate temperature to determine how to set your lean rich mixture they do go bad and it will cause not to start when cold.

Sounds like the dampness overnight is causing issues. I would suggest a tune up with new ignition wires. Check your engine...if it is dirty, consider having the engine steam cleaned. Electricity will flow through water, but not dirt. The heat of the day is drying out the engine. You will likely have similar problems on rainy days

Change your idle control sol.
You can try starting it by pressing the accelerator a little and see if it starts.
