Don't do it, man!
If you're not sure that you have a legal copy, than it's not legal, I'm 100% sure. Why would you make your life harder if you really don't need to do that?

if you wanna get the windows updates without having to worry about the validation just turn on automatic updates your pc will receive updates at what ever time you schedule it to and install them if thats how you set it up
but it bypasses the validatoin process

NO, NO, and NO! It's basicly SPYWARE cloated as a so called validation process!

Matter of fact, there are several lawsuits against Microsoft presently.

Better avoid it. My friend did got a WGA file installed, while validation, now it keeps popping in system tray that 'your window are not genuine'. Go thru the following links, would help you to better understand about validations:--
